Castiel Art Nouveau

Castiel in art nouveau - the coming of dawn. In Victorian times, flowers had certain meanings and I have kept with that theme. The lilies at his feet represent the purity of his soul and his innocence. The lilacs at the top are representative of first emotions and Castiel's slowly becoming more aware of his ability to feel them.

I have been working on this for a while and have gotten tired of messing with it. >__< I'm uploading it to stop myself from screwing with it any more.

Some of you may notice the change in face, that's because halfway through painting it, I decided it was bothering me to no end that Cas's face didn't look like Misha. I know it doesn't HAVE to but it just didn't feel like Cas to me. When I drew the original lines, I wasn't looking at any refs so the face was really off. I used the grid method to re-do the face, working from a reference image I found of Misha. It took forever (much erasing and ctrl+z was had) but I am happy with how it turned out now.
